A survey given to over 3,600 college students found that 71% of female students overestimate the amount of alcohol male peers would prefer for them to drink at events. They overestimated by 1.5 drinks. A follow up survey will be taking a look at the amount of alcohol males think that their female peers should drink.
There is a part of me that feels a bit judgemental reading this study. Why is it that females sometimes feel the need to engage in self destructive behaviors to attract a mate? Do males feel the same need?
